Celebrate America's 250th Birthday with a day packed with activities across the City of Orr. From the morning 5K and car show to the parade, live music, shopping, food trucks, family activities, and fireworks over Orr Bay, there's something for everyone.
The ORR Recreation & Resource Center will serve as one of the day's primary activity hubs, hosting special events, shopping, entertainment, and gathering spaces throughout the celebration.

Celebrate America's 250th Birthday with decorated vehicles, community groups, local businesses, side-by-sides, and festive entries. Awards will be presented following the parade.
Parade lineup starts at 11:30 AM at the tennis courts.
Sawdust Pile Coin Dig

Sponsored by the Orr Lions Club, the Sawdust Pile Coin Dig is a favorite tradition for young treasure hunters. Children can dig through a pile of sawdust in search of hidden coins and prizes, making for a fun-filled activity packed with excitement and discovery.

End the day with a spectacular fireworks display over Orr Bay at dusk. Sponsored by the Orr Pelican Lake Resort Association and the Orr Lions Club, this beloved community tradition lights up the night sky and provides the perfect finale to a day filled with celebration, family fun, and hometown pride.

Spend the day exploring the community, shopping for unique treasures, enjoying live music, visiting local vendors, cheering on parade participants, reconnecting with friends and classmates, and making memories with family. Whether you're joining us for a few hours or spending the entire day in town, you'll find plenty of reasons to stay, explore, and celebrate.
